Default Servo setup

So to start off this is my first RC, have read lots and have been messing around with my SCX-10 Rubicon kit a ton . I finally bought the rest of the electronics and set it all up, my problem is I can't seem to get the servo to reach the steering limits. I can turn left or right but the servo stops before the physical limits of the steering components.
I have a
Hitech Hs-5646wp servo
Spektrum DX4C Radio
Axial AE-2 ESC
I have set the limits on the radio up to 150% but there is no difference in range of motion of the servo.
Am I missing something completely obvious? All I can think of is the servo horn is maybe too short? I bought a DYN-2561 1/2 machined aluminum horn.

Longer servo horn should solve your problem.

The Dynamite servo horn is probably too short, the stock plastic horn is over an inch long (total length) and from center-to-center of the servo spline to link mount hole is just under and inch. The Dynamite at just 1/2" is shorter than the stock horn no matter where they took their measurement.

Found some specs on the Axial aluminum servo horns, the holes in them are 16mm (.63") and 20mm (.78") from the servo spline. So the Dynamite 12.7mm (.50") horn is simply too short.

The .78" is the same as I measured on the stock SCX10 horn.

Cool, thanks for the measurements! Will pick up an Axial horn today and give it a try.
