I bought used dingo withn2.2's on it. Didn't like them so I tried to put 1.9's on. they wont work because the steering links hit the tires. What offset should the wheels be? do they make some 12mm wheel hex nuts that are thicker? thanks

What 1.9 wheels do you have? A lot of "touring car wheels don't have enough offset to clear the knuckles. Axial stock wheels are 9mm (in rc talk, opposite of the 1:1 world) iirc. They clear by a couple of mm. Stupid auto correct.

+1. Wheel wideners shouldn't be necessary to clear steering links. What wheels are these?

Cheaper just to buy new axial bead locks than to buy wideners. Or close anyway.
The rims I was trying to use where Integy brand bead locks but they were for my axial wraith. So... problem solved. Thanks guys

Huh...I didn't know the Wraith had a different offset than the SCX10.

rims are integy #c24884silver for axial wraith. Billet Machined Alloy T2 Dual 5 Beadlock Wheel (2) for Axial Wraith w/ 12mm Hex for R/C or RC - Team Integy
must have different offset cuz they didn't work.

Right there on that page it says,

These Rims Look And Work Great, The Only Reason I Give Them Three Stars Is Because The Offset Is Way Too Deep. I Run 19mm Spacers And These Rims Basically Put The Tires Back To Where They Were Before I Put Spacers On. If You Put Them On An Scx10 Style Axle Without Any Kind Of Spacer I'm Guessing They Are Going To Rub The Links Or Frame. That Was Just Due To My Lack Of Research Before Purchasing.

Can you post a pic of how narrow they make the truck? I need a set of super narrow wheels for my rig.
