Where are you guys putting battery in SCX-10 Rubicon?

I like this tray, up and out of the way just enough that the front tires don't rub battery or tray during full lock steering and flex. I made a couple of my own battery trays that are similar to this.

EDIT: This is the best all around battery positioin in my experience.

I sell 2 parts depending on what configuration you want.

The front battery mount uses the stock plate and allows you to position your battery across the front of the chassis. It's a direct fit. Shown fitted to my Rubicon, there is also a newer beefed version.



The other parts are a saddle pack battery mount / floor that mount directly to the stock rock rails. Shown fitted to my G6

Dont have pics atm but on my rubicon ive got the vp sliders. I run 2s saddle packs on it. The nano techs 6000mah fit perfectly in the center of the sliders.

On my honcho I zip tied a wraith tray to the frame and it sits sideways behind front tires. Holds a 2850mah 3s pack.
