Default Question from a newbie

Hi Folks,

I just picked up an SCX10 CRC edition crawler. This may seem like a really dumb question but how do I remove the plastic nut covers so I can get the wheels off? I don't seem to find any sort of tool for this in the parts bag. Just the 4 way that's for the actual locknut.

Thanks,

NP

You should be able to do it by hand. They aren't meant to need a tool to remove them. They are just for looks and are therefore only on finger tight.

Thanks guys. Wish the instructions would have said that. I called customer support number in the instruction manual and they told me they were friction fit =/.

They're standard right-hand thread just like the wheel nuts and axles, the axles actually form the threads the first time they're installed. Reverse (or left-hand) thread would turn cock-wise to remove.
