My 1st scaler-SCX10 Deadbolt

Hi everyone, new to the site as well as to the crawler/scaler part of RC. I have a few 1/8 and 1/10 monster trucks and buggys, so I have a little RC experience, mainly with nitro. Anyhow I bought my 1st scaler yesterday. Got a SCX10 Deadbolt roller. This truck has a specific purpose, im wanting to build a scale puller out of it that matches my 1:1 truck . Was looking for some input on what motor and gear combination would be good to start with? Going to be running 1.9 RC4wd Dirt Grabbers and plan to use it on dirt. It comes with the stock motor and ESC but according to the previous owner the motor is fried. Wont have it in my hands till hopefully Wed/Thur.

I don't have a sled yet, Have been looking for one but the ones I have found are a bit pricy so I will be in the process of building one here pretty soon.

Also, is there a place you can order custom scale decals? I talked to the gentleman that made my decals for my 1:1 truck but he didn't think he could do a real good job with decals quite that small.

EBay has tons of scale decals and trinkets. Looks like you have a great platform

If you plan to compete I would suggest a set of cut tlt tires instead of the dirt Grabber's. Here is one I built a few years back.
