Default Incision Spool Screws

I've done some research and it appears I need M3 fine pitched screws to mount it to the Axial HD Gear set. Correct?

I never really found how long they need to be. Anyone know?

Yes I have them. I haven't took it apart yet. My LHS is over a hour away so I try to make sure I have everything I need before starting.

Will the stock screws work? I saw mention of it but the may need cut?
