Default TFL CVDs - anyone running them?

I'm looking at the TFL stainless CVDs on ebay. Can get a set for about $24 or so.

They look a lot like the vanquish VVDs.

Anyone have an experience with this part, or TFL in general? Thanks.

Got them, they work fine. You should be able to get them a little cheaper, on the make offer.
Did you see the $6.00 lockers to go with them?

I (and many others) have broken hardened steel CVDs under much less than extreme abuse. Can't imagine that CVDs made out of an inherently weaker material will last.

Guess Im one of the "many others". The good thing about those ebay shafts is if they ever bend, you can probably just bend them right back.

Never thought I'd see malleability listed as a feature of an axle shaft.

Their wheels looks decent though... Could be willing to give those a shot. Had great experience with China wheels in general.

I bought some hot racing ones and they are holding up fine.

6 months of 12hrs a week on 3s. Granted I don't drive like an idiot, but they haven't failed yet.

They are also stainless I would be more concerned about shearing then bending.

It's on the rc genesis website, not on ebay. Sorry about that
