|  Hot Racing LCG SCX10 trans
Saw this on EBay, looks interesting. 11.4:1 reduction. Can run 48p pinion from 9t to 30t. Dig compatible and looks pretty compact for easier interior installs. Part number: SCP38X01

No, that is the entire trans. Notice the motor mount plate?

I have one. From what I'm told it uses berg gears with one being larger to change the ratio. It's basically a Berg gear case (holes to attach axle tubes and all) with a different locker and 48 pitch first gear, the rest are .6 mod. The gears are lightened steel so it should be pretty tough. It'll also be tough to fit in a modern chassis. The whole transmission sits in front of the old trans location, the rear driveline isn't an issue but the front gets real short real quick.
