Yes. What length shocks would you recommend? 70mm?

The Sawback bolts fit but are wide, hence why I ordered rc4wd ones. They should get to me next week, and they come with the plates.

JEC racing has prototype leaf spring kits for AR44, should be available soon. Hopefully
Those seem pretty similar to the gcm ones..

Right now I know the Sawback bolts work, they're just oversize in diameter of bend, if you can wait I will let you know how the RC4WD bolts fit. Technically yes, you don't need them with the GCM perches, they're for looks as well as strength just like on a tf2

Would 80mm be to long to mount to chassis rail height you think?

To mount right to the chassis rails, yes, way too long. I'm not sure you'll find a shock that short in the crawler market, have to probably look at on road cars. The 70s work because they're leaning inward.

The RC4WD K44 U-bolts do not work. Not long enough. Shame cause they are a perfect scale diameter.

So i got the leaf springs somewhat mocked up in place for the wheelbase i need. How did you mount the rear swing shackles to the chassis.. if you could get me some pictures, that would be awesome...

I'm not sure this is going to help a whole lot, I have a Toyzuki v2 chassis in this rig, but maybe it'll get some ideas flowing nonetheless.

From an old build thread of mine. It's in the 1.9 section. It took a lot of work to get the spring mount locations set correctly but its possible to cleanly convert over to leafs. This rig was going to be a C1 rig but unfortunately I got burned out and lost interest. I literally drove it 1 time on new years day of 2017, it just sits in a box, unfinished.
