| Original scx10 axles - wider?
My roommate has an original scx10. He bought mudslinger 2.2 XL tires.. hes wanting to make a mud truck of some sort. He needs to widen the axles. How do we go about this? Wraith axles? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

AR60 axles would work. They are wider and the links would need to be custom or if you can find some plates that are made to help mount them. I forget who the vendor is that makes them.

Looks for axles wideners on fleaBay. 15mm should be enough.

Boom racing makes XR width SCX10 axles. About 1.5" wider than stock so in between an SCX10 axle and AR60. Great axles, I have a set and they've held up well. PN (#BR233035BK front and #BR233035RBK rear)

Boom Racing XR modify axles are the most budget axles I have ever know. Highly recommended https://www.asiatees.com/display?Axi...d=132352&pid=1 |

Wraith axles aren't great at handling power until you beef them up. Just be prepared to spend money if you're going to throw a lot of power at them. And that's if you keep the axles locked. If you try to run open diffs you'll destroy them even faster.

You said you wanted the cheap route right? https://www.ebay.com/itm/17mm-Wheel-...0AAMXQeKNTO5wb These or something like them is the best and easiest. Bolt right up, nothing to take apart. Just put these between the wheel and the axle. |
