Default JC Auto Designs New Shop Rig - Project Jeromanji - SCX10II

I finally picked up my kit and can get started on building and developing products for this kit. (I originally pre-ordered, but don't want to wait until Mid-August to get it.)

I've just barely started on the wheels:

These are the Cherokee Limited Gold Mesh wheels. I think they look great, and they are beadlock as well. Their offset will push the wheels out a bit though, so I am not sure they will stick around or not yet.

One thing I noticed right away was how similar the chassis layout is to my SCX10 G6 JK (posted 3/23/14) even down to the winch routing and standing battery:

The only difference is I think I have the servo in the correct places, and the good news is that my existing Servo Chassis Mounts (that are showing in the pics) should fit the new chassis, but I'll verify for sure very soon.

I have been meaning to update those mounts though, and I'll be testing the new mounts on this rig, as well as the G6 JK.

I'll also be testing compatibility with my other products, and I have some other products specific to this new platform coming out soon.

Stay tuned as I develop and test these new products, as well as how I go about building the rig.
I'm not going to do a step-by-step, but will note some things I change as I build.

I finally got the chassis basically built, but I think there might be something wrong with my chassis rails. They don't look like the ones on Axial's website... Weird...

These rails will be coming very soon. They are compatible with all stock components, and there are holes in the chassis to allow you to mount the transmission facing forward without needing to use a 3D printed brace.
There are also holes to mount a wraith/spawn cage, and I will have the rest of the adapters available soon too.
Shock mounts and panhard mounts can be cut from the original shock mounts, and there is only minor trimming of the sliders needed for them to work. I'll get some pictures of the cutting needed very soon.

Thank you, this is basically the next version of the Karnage SSR rails that I sell:

Scale Chassis Rails - JC Auto Design

I'll probably have a vendor thread and new product announcement by the end of the weekend.

Only a small update to mention that I am still planning to get my Karnage SSR-II Chassis posted to the JC Auto Design website for sale very soon! I had an unexpected house project come up that has thrown me behind in everything hobby related.
This is the FIRST aftermarket chassis for the SCX10-II, but also the best!
I'm finishing up pictures and instructions, but for now, here's a comparison to the OEM chassis:

Clearance where it counts. This image above is missing some minor tweaks, but shows the added clearance, especially important is in front of the skid plate.

More info VERY soon!

I haven't posted the new chassis yet for sale yet, although that should be up by the weekend.

You would cut your original shock towers to use the panhard mount as well as the body mounts. I was planning on getting some install instructions made that describe what to cut and where for the shock towers and sliders.

O, I thought website was selling new version, lol
Sweet I save $ for a few days. ha!
I'll machine my pan hard mount and most likely body mounts then.
I was curious. But I like the looks and i'd rather buy this one than machine my own.
Please post when I can buy or msg me. I'll send $ asap.

I'm not sure what the issue is, but try it again and let me know what you see. The chassis are ready for sale.
