Are they the same weight as your normal knuckles with brass weights bolted to them? Or would they be lighter?

I'd say they are phat and heavy all by themselves.

Our Aluminum knuckles plus brass weight (SSD00140) are: 64g each side.
These new brass knuckles are 70g each.

do these knuckles limit the steering in any way? I am looking to get new knuckles and was set on the aluminum pro version with weights but in light of this new product I am curious as to the pros and cons versus the 2. first difference I see is the price so with these new knuckles I can get more weight for cheaper then your other setup is this correct? is there any other differences besides the obvious? thanks in advance.
p.s. I already have the pro rear lockouts on order, are u guys releasing new versions of those as well?

None of our knuckles limit the steering. Steering is usually limited by universal joint/CVD capability (sometimes steering link rod ends touching C hubs).

No, there wont be any new rear lockouts from us.

I ordered a set last evening from RPP along with a set of the SSD black rear hub/wheel nut. . 70g a piece compared to 50?or 55g from the SSD knuckle rotor/weight which was plenty heavy in my book. These should keep any front end comfortably planted. I also love the almost black look to these. No paint required to tone down the brass color.

I received mine today from RPP. These things are huge and heavy! I won’t be installing them until this weekend, so no review until then....

What are people doing on the rear in conjunction with these Brass Knuckles?

I have the SSD Knuckles, C-hubs and lockouts with Brass weights on my other II. For my current project I'm going to try another SSD route. I picked up some SSD Pro44 axles/HD diff cover with SSD C-hubs. I'm going to do brass knuckles on the front and am wondering if people are also adding weight to the rear or not and by what means? I'm not sure if you can add SSD's brass weights to the rear Pro44 axle since it doesn't have the same mounting holes as their Lockouts.

edit to add: Does anyone have these in stock right now? Checked RPP, Amain, Hobbytown, Amazon and several others already...

You could add beefpatties to you wheels ( if you have vp slw bolt pattern)

Weight inside the rear wheels

Ssd rear lockouts with the weights

Make your own weight system for the rear

Pretty much, you could get creative with it

I put some on my truggy build. Had some minor sanding to get one inside bearing to fit. Also the axial 8hole wheels just rubbed the knuckles so I slapped some beef patties on to bump them out a touch. Now everything is free and clear. Loves these knuckles.

Kind of bummed that they rub on stock Axial beadlocks. Have to run 8mm hexes to get them to clear. The fit and finish is top notch though.
