| Crawler505's scx10 II build
It's been about a year since my last built. I got a 1:1 Rubicon that I have been building which has taken all my attention. Finally picked up the kit with a few extras. Here we go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Crawler505; 07-22-2017 at 12:41 PM. |

For some reason I like getting the wheels and tires mounted up first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks like a great start to an awesome build! Do you think the SCX10 II would be a good first crawler for someone who's a newb to crawling but not RC? Thanks!

You get all those high dollar parts but you end up with a Tactic rx/tx setup and servo? WHY?

Haha. Good question. All the electronics I have had for awhile. I plan on building a second rig with my two daughters, from the left over parts from this one that I will eventually put those in. Since I had them already I figured I would use them for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Got the axles done. Had to file down the left knuckle a tad so I could get full lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Glad to see you using the stock axial bfg's on some new shoes, they are quite capable. With the addition of the CI foams I bet it will really wake them up.

Links are done. I almost got the Incision links but glad I went with the stock ones. They look beefy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Got the chassis all tighten up. It's starting to take some shape. Now it's time for the shocks. Fingers crossed they don't leak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Will it be your final setup for the esc-motor combo?

| Re: Crawler505's scx10 II build For now the axial 35t and AE-5. Once I start building a second rig with my kids I will move all electronics from this over to that and go with with a Holmes stubby and probably a mamba max. I have a similar set on my bomber. But if anyone has other suggestions I'm open for suggestions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Shocks are done. Anyone know why Axial didn't go with a dual spring setup? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
