You don't need a video. The setting you want to adjust in your radio is Travel, top of page 9 in your manual: TRAVEL The Servo Setup menu contains the following functions: Travel sets the overall travel or endpoints of the servo arm movement. Travel values range from 0–150% (Default is 100%). To adjust Travel values: 1. Slide to the channel you wish to adjust and press OK. 2. Slide Up or Down to adjust the travel value. Press OK to save the selection. The manual for the SCX10 III shows in the transmission build section where the levers for dig and 2 speed should be when engaged and disengaged. You can try to set the end points to the manual and if you still have issues make adjustments and test. For example, if you find that the dig unit is not unlocking and you need to reverse to get it to unlock adjust the Travel (end point) in the forward direction for unlocking a little further and test it. |

When you install the dig servo set it up in the center, so the dig freewheels the rear axle. Your sub trim will work to fine tune. Then set your EP.... mine are right at 30 and 70. I set up two switches so I can use all three positions. Harleys video on his SCX10III build shows setup on Futaba at the end of the video , about 26:00 in https://youtu.be/3Vgw4jpUqk4 This dig really doesn’t like to freewheel, I suspect the slop in the saver is the issue, drop the saver. Yep, pretty much what they said. If you look at the push rod for the dig, there is a flat so you can grip the shaft with a tool and screw on the end piece. If you line the forward edge of the flat to the tranny case where it enters, this is the center of neutral. I am using an FS-GT5, on ch4, a 3 PID switch. Center pos freewheels the rear, down locks the dig, all the way up is 4wd. Lou |
