| Sensored chattering. Help!
So I just got my 3200 kv sensored brushless setup today and it was working fine when I tested it before putting it in. But then it wouldn't move and was making a really bad noise. At first I thought I forgot to tighten the motor down so I pulled it out and now it just chatters an the esc gets really hot. But when I unplug the sensor wire it goes just fine. Is it a bad connection or is the esc bad? I don't have another sensored motor to test the esc so I don't know what to do.

Just went through the same EXACT thing. You need to REVERSE all the motor wires. do not just flip two. take them from the way they are now and flip the outside two wires. Make sense? I actually sent a brand new 18.5 Ballistic back to Novak. They said it was a short on the phone and sent me a new one same week. When I got the new one it did the same thing. Almost sent back the MMP but tried this first. Everyone told me to flip any two wires, and thats what I had been doing. Its "which" two that make the diff. LMK if it worked for ya. |
