Default wraith glitching. (PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!)

Yesterday i took the wraith out to do some crawling and when just siiting there it would kinda shake forward and reverse and the steering servo would shake left and right . Also when trying to turn the lights would flicker and the truck would try to move. Any ideas as to what is wrong? I just installed a new Spektrum 6100 servo and 19 turn motor and it still has the same problems.

No, not ever. If i turn the wheel on the controler any direction it goes in reverse real quick. Can the radio and or reciever take a crap overnight, lol. Im at a loss. im thinking about trying the radio and reciever off my stampede.

it's the servo, that servo really needs an external bec. unplug the servo glitch will go away. your servo choice is pretty decent, but the stock bec can't handle it.

I will try that. It never used to do it though, it started yesterday on the stock servo but it was ready to take a dump so i replaced it with the spektrum. Would it be possible to hook power directly to the servo from the battery?

I just had to edit this post. if your running a 2 cell lippo than yes. it is a high voltage servo. your bec will not keep up with it. wiring should be simple enough. disconnect the red and black wire from the esc to servo at the lead and run a couple of jumpers to the battery and you should be in business. and have enough torque to move boulders!

So i tried the radio and reciever out of my stampede 4x4 vxl and it still does the same thing. Im guessing the esc is trash? It only has the problem when the steering servo is plugged in, as soon as you unplug it the problem stops. I have tried the stock and the spektrum servos and they both have the same result.

I found the issue. I had a castle link y harness between the esc and receiver. I removed it and everything works great! It didn't give me any issues for the two weeks I had it until two days ago.
