Default Spur gear, need help!!!! PLEASE!

Okay

I need a 32dp ( or Mod 0.8 ) 56t spur gear for my Wraith. I have ordered the Duratrax one which has yet to arrive ordered out of country and i am getting fed up of waiting.

I have read on this forum that the Traxxas spur gear fits with NO modification it does NOT on mine. Please could someone tell me specifically which Traxxas spur gear they are using that fits with no modification. If you could provide a link to one that would be great.

Also is there any other spur that fits with no modification except Duratrax which is taking a decade to get here and Traxxas which so far has not fit properly.

Many Thanks
Rob

I use spurs for the Traxxas E-maxx and they fit with no mods. You can also use spurs from Duratrax.

Thanks for your reply, I haveseen two types of traxxas spur gear. One with three mounting holes and another with many, which are you using.

The one I purchased has three mounting holes that doesn't quite match up to the holes in the slipper.

Would be great if you could post a link to theone you are using

Thanks

What age is your wraith? Wew there any changes made to the design of the slipper that would change the mount? I've checked again and my traxxas spur really doesn't fit

I use a 58t traxxas spur. Part #3958. I had to start all the bolts in loosely before tightening them down. It's noisy but it works!! It will also rub the cover a bit but it will clearance its self in time, or you could be like me and just press down on the cover to give it a little help with the clearance.

Will try that, coax the screws in slowly - will give it a go.
