Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Great build!! Axial should release a IFS kit for the Wraith so we dont have to buy an exo to get the parts.. BTW, how did you end up in Hawaii? |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build looks awesome! you probably already were gonna do this but id back this with CA & more material on the backside so it doesnt snap on ya. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...44955835_n.jpg |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Thanks, guys. frdtrkguy, military brought us here again. SwampDawg, I thought about how brittle that piece would be after removing material. Not too worried about it. They make them in aluminum. Did a little work sorting out electrical. Got a cool switch panel for it as well. I'll have to figure out where I want that mounted a get pics of it installed later. Last night I focused on lighting. 3Racing light kit and a G.T. Power kit are being used for now. I have 9 forward lights (until I get the chino light bar), these four for the rear, and I'll likely stick rock lights in. Here's how the rear will look under throttle. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...14271630_n.jpg ...and braking. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...38014560_n.jpg |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build I likey!!! Now this woulda been perfect for the Exo Terra-X |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Might as well put a functional switch panel in it. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...88678728_n.jpg |

Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Sway bar came in. I used the Wraith front on the back of this thing. Also stripped the green anodizing off the aluminum shock bits. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...86319970_n.jpg ...and young_version picked these things up for me. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...85051040_n.jpg Oh, RC4WD is out of stock on these wideners, so if anyone has a set of these they're not using, I could put them to use. |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Working on wiring for the lights. Ran out of Techflex so I'll have to get more tomorrow. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...04311338_n.jpg |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build An idea I've been thinking about. Finally gave it a try today. Dimple die time. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...44164799_n.jpg |
Re: JIA's IFS Wraith build Small update. Got the tires (R35 Ripsaws for now) mounted on the new wheels. Need to find proper wideners. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7039191_n.jpg |
