Finally got new parts after blowing up the 19T pinion gear. Most likely destroyed due to not using a RR steel pinion. So this time I went for a Supershafty top shaft with the Robinson Racing 32p slash spur and RR 14T super pinion. And when at it I ordered the Pro4 3300kv The torque in the 13,5T Redline wasn't enough for me. Also uppgraded to aluminum chubs/knuckles straight axle adaptors. Cut of rear steering arms. Shiny bits. |

Not much to report from this season. The rig has most of the time been sitting on the shelf. I got an ebay lowering kit for it to get the proper stance I wanted, new CI mediun 5,5" double deuce foams wich turned out great. Previously I allway had a flatspot on each tire, but now it's gone and I'm happy. New driver is added and I cut the front bumper. I managed to break the bumper just above the two top screws. I'm currently suorcing a new better one in stock appearance or simmilar with a winch mount. Any suggestions is most welcome. And Oh! I uppgraded to Vanquish steering links aswell. |

Not done much to this the last few years, Its been mostly sitting on the shelf. I got some new Super swamper XLs since the old ones cracked in the side walls. I also installed Beef tubes in rear axle and didn't bother to put the front ones in at that stage. I ran it a few times, but since my batterys balooned I just put it away. I got some fresh 3S 5200mah batterys last year but didn't really use it. When my son got a Bomber RR10 I just had to take it out for a spin. After a few minutes I discovered that I just had 3wd. Took the front axle apart and had the same problems as earlier, the grub screws in the locked was loose and made the shaft pencil sharp. Ordered Incision spools and a new set of Axial CVDs. Also ordered new front bumper (again) and rear sway bar kit as the one I had broke during disassembly. My plan is to fix front axle, get rid of some of the wheel weights and reduce drag brake. I will also put in the EXO scale radiator I removed for some reason (Can't remember why) |
