Default Novak XBR Sport ESC w/ EX 8.5T brushless motor

First off I did read Harley's awesome post regarding all of the necessities to get you off on the right foot... er, tire..

Anyway, I scored a Novak XBR ESC with a EX 8.5T brushless sensored motor. I've been playing with the gearing with the Axial 27T motor and found that a 87/17 works very well for my application but I'm curious to see if brushless motors have really worked with the Wraith. Gearing stupid low, keeping the interior, heat and fans, etc.

Let me hear your experiences, gearing and another advice you would like to give. If in the end, the system doesn't work out, I'll put in another RC in the future.

Thanks!
