I've done a lot of soldering but for the life of me can't get anything to stick to the ESC.

Drinkin beer now. Motor is 2100kv so on 2 or 3 cell it should crawl well on 4-6 it most likely rip the tires of.

You need a good hot soldering iron! I know my Tekin RS was fun to wire. I am getting myself a great new Weller soldering station.

On the forumns this has a good rep. Has been a few duds. Comparable sales ESC cist over a hundred bucks used.

I'm using a 750 watt Weller. The heat sink seems to be suckn the heat right out.

Not sure what I'm going to do.

Do you use flux? If not - you need to.

Maybe 500 . Its a big pistol gun thing. I'm looking at that clone station on eBay. Also think about a small torch.

Not using flux. I'll get some later.

Looking at truggy rollers on eBay. I don't think this is going in the wraith. However I'm curious how the slow wheeling would be on 2 and 3 cell with the huge 2100kv motor.

Probly. I'm running 4600kv now . It cogs but not bad. The faster wraith suits my driving style. Though I did drop a tooth on the pinion today.

Also the 2100kv is just to big to mount without modding. Its same I'll have to get a truggy to use it. ;)

Paddles are now glued and mounted heavy snow is falling;)
