i have mine set a 100%. itl almost hold on near everywhere else it holds and doesnt roll

i ran 100-213% on castle esc and liked it alot for craqwling i think the more the hold the better because as you get where you want you dont want it roll off when you let of to steer or think about whre your going next.

what is the factory setting?

and will it make things run hotter if you have it set 100% or will it cut life span down any of the ESC or the motor?

With the stock motor no amount of drag brake will hold the truck still. Im not sure on the exact number its set on stock but its not high. Temperature wont be affected much if any. Nothing to worry about. Get a nice motor and turn it up!
