| Help identifying some shocks please!
I'm trying to identify some shocks that came with my Wraith. They're aftermarket, metal and leaking. If I post the picture, my post will not appear and it says it has to be approved by a moderator. Am I on some kind of ban or something? Can someone help me sort this out? I just need some help with the shocks. Thanks. |

Post the picture through photobucket. It's a hassle but it works.

The image results show different looking shocks for MSR 11's. https://www.google.com/search?q=inte...B4ik2gXu_oD4Aw The giveaway is the way the brass insert is pushed into the top and bottom of the shock. |

Why do you need to know who makes them? If they leak and you don't like them why not just buy better ones? I think the problem could be the shock cap bladder, if the caps were cranked on too tight it probably ruined the seal.

Bladders are cheaper than new shocks, so I would like to overhaul the shocks before I write them off as no good. I need to identify the shocks so I can buy the right bladders and seals. I am appreciative of all the help so far. I hope I can get to the bottom of this one soon as the snow's melting and its time to go out and get muddy! | |

I think Axial shock bladders fit almost all shocks. I have used them in some 3Racing shocks and I believe they fit Traxxas Big Bores too. As long as you know the diameter of bladder you should be good to go.

Good info. Thanks. Next time I go to refill them I'll take a measurement.
