| full option rtr wraith
There was a password protected news item on the Axial website with the title "Full Option RTR Wraith". It's gone now. Just throwing it out there for discussion/speculation. Did anyone else see that?

Did not see it. I am done with RTR's & Axials upgrades don't cover all the needs & are not the best you can get so I would still rather have a kit & my choice of upgrades. I am glad I got the RTR to get me back into the game but I wont go RTR again. |

Saw it. Called them and told them that they had accidentally published a PW protected post. Then they took it down. It looked a little beefier than a standard RTR.

I could only imagine that tho your wraith would come with a few options I could only think that you pocket would be considerably smaller...

Only way I'd be interested is if it came with universals, hardened steel lockers, metal transmission gears and MIPs. I know this is unlikely so I'll steer clear of the rtrs.

When you BUY a full mod rig out of the box, you miss all the fun of breaking your rig, grumbling, than buying vanquish stuff. Sorry but I'm a Built not Bought kinda guy. Sent from a rock |

I kinda like being the subject of a conspiracy theory!! But, I'm sorry to say I have no connection to Axial. I'm just a new Wraith owner who likes to do research and tends to be more of a lurker than a poster! I just happened to look at the Axial website that morning (I keep hoping they'll announce a kit version of the AX10!) and I thought that post was weird. I built my wraith from a kit but I have some friends that are thinking about a wraith. They are lazy though and don't want to do a lot of upgrading but they want more than the rtr has! Seems like an rtr with at least the upgrades that come with the kit could be a good option for a lot of people.

I guess I got my answer on that AX10 kit I was hoping for. They responded to my comment on the axial site. No plans for a kit version of the Ridgecrest at this time. I suppose I can just do a parts build of either an AX10 or an XR10. Bummed I can't get kits of either of the ones I want to build next! |

If they did release a fully built wraith all the parts would prob have to be replaced as soon as it came out the box lol
