yep sure did on both ends after maybe thirty min. now here is more bad news the front wheels had a vertical wobble if i move them back and forth by hand so i put the fast eddie bearings in figuring it was the factory bearings, turns out the hr cvd axles are lathed slightly smaller on the ends and there the reason the wheels are loose. new bearings and still got play.

Sorry to hear about your CVDs. My personal experience is if vanquish makes the part buy it and be done with it. Whenever I try to save money on other companies parts I'm disappointed and up buying the vanquish part so from now on I just buy the vanquish part from the get go. |

thats a really good idea slim fire. the strc chubs and knuckles are actually really good and i think there lighter than moth other brands, i expected that to be the first new upgrade to have issues. i mean how simple is it to use thread on ball ends on the steering instead of the brass crap. and u would think they would test the fit and finish of the cvd's. i have used alot of brands over the years and thats why i used a few diffrent kinds on this truck but this is the worst by far that ive ever used. the van steering links are cheap atleast.

ok castle link in and bec turned up to 6.5v i figured my regular voltage servos can handle it since the ones in my ofna nitro run a nimh 5 cell. so fully charged that is over 6.5v, what do u guys think? the servos are a hitec 5645 digital and a 645 analog.from what u can tell from my pics do u think it would pass for a scale challenge or what else needs to be covered or removed.

I have two 5645's that are six years old and still going. One has been doing throttle duty in my boat which now that i'm repowering with bl motors, has been transplanted to my sc10ft. The other is still in the boat doing steering duty. From when I first took them out of the package, they've been constantly opened and treated with corrosion x. That's what's been keeping them alive considering how many times they've been submerged for up to a half hour at a time while i'm rescuing it from a flip. Tough suckers!!

mjc597 does running it at 6.5v give it more tq too. I know the 5645 only puts out about 170oz of tq at 6v. So I was wondering if it puts out more at 6.5v. So going to 6.5 it could get closer to 200 right?

yes i would say it added speed and torque. according to specs it should be up just shy of 200. it works great.

Yeah I'm not sure how much more it gives it, but I noticed quite a difference going from 6v up to 6.5...I wanna seen how it holds up to that for a while. My son has a solar d722 in his truck, I may swap it into the wraith anf set it to 7.4 and see how it does.. -sent from my smarter than me phone |

comlete gut and rewire esc and batt in front rx and bec is custom box under speaker box. waterproof esc, integy knock off shocks, the fiance custom painted the seats and bed cover. we are trying to find the riddler from batman, he will be driving. now the wires are much more hidden im still wondering if it will pass for a scale comp though or if more authentication needs to be done.

| Re: second crawler, first wraith I have run that servo for a couple of years directly from a 2s life battery with no problem whatsoever. A life tops out at 7.4v off the charger with a nominal of 6.6v.
