Default Switching to MIPs

Will this be all I need to switch to MIPs?
MIP C-Drive Spline Center CVD Wraith

I know I will have to dremel out some spur cover but I'm Ok with that.

Deciding between BRXL and a HH Crawlmaster PRO or going SV3 & 3500 Velineon?

They fit just fine with the spur cover. The tranny side outputs are longer to clear the cover. I've been running them for a while now. Typical MIP strength. It's the last thing I worry about when out on the trails.

Put them together with red loctite and never look back. Most recommend blue loctite since it's easier to get apart but a bit of heat will get red to release if needed and it just flat holds better.

I'm scurred of Red loctite. Too permanent feeling for me. Blue is where it's at!

AND yes when I'm bashing the driveshafts are the last thing I'm worried about. Rock solid.

Those are really good drive shafts, they are so much better than the quality of the axial diff lockers, which you will break now HAHAHA.

Most people have to replace the diff locker after replacing the drive shafts.

I don't have them yet but I've heard Gripfab lockers are great.

Why not buy ax10 mip shafts, about $15 cheaper and are m4x2mm instead of stock m3x1.5. Plus this is size you will need when upgrading to supershafty 6mm output mip hubs. You will need traxxas pins part #5145 if doing this. This is what I have done.

I run hr spools with mmp pro4 with 3s and have never had a problem. I've seen people shear the ring bolts(that's why I run stainless steel), that's a bolt problem, not a locker problem.

I broke both my axial lockers while still running the stock drive shafts. I run the Hot Racing spools and love them. They're fairly cheap and are nice and simple and strong.
