Default Body Panel Mount Screw Alternative?

What screws do you guys use to hold your body panels on instead of the stock ones...
Stock being Part number : AXA0422 ( m2.6/6mm)
Id like something different, not the self taping if possible..

so, What are you guys using!?

I think some people use the rustler battery hold down posts for their hinged hoods so you only have to pull clips instead of taking out screws. If that's what you were asking.

Used some from the RC Screws kit for the Wraith. They are stainless steel but not button head like the stock ones so they do have a tendency to catch on rocks and trees if you rub along the side panel.

I'm using the 2-56 scale hardware from locked up RC.

They're holding down the diamond plate as well as the body panels. I love em, but they definitely catch more than a button head.

Silver sharpie marker to the head of the stock screw. Looks good.

I use hexcrews which are a bit beefy and are the fine thread. Same size as stock but not the coarse threads.

Exactly, the stockers work great I use them to hold down my lexan Honcho bed too. You could use some 3x6mm machine thread buttonheads, but they are larger diameter than the 2.6mm self-tappers Axial uses.
