Default wraith motor and esc replacement?

I'm thinking of replacing the stock motor and esc on the Wraith I just got in trade with the Tekin FX-R esc and Tekin HD 35T motor. I want to have slow crawling with some zippy throttle blips and decent trail riding speed that's not to slow. Would this work with the stock trans gearing? Any help would be appreciated.

You will find the answer to your question in the sticky section:

I read that thread for an hour last night and nothing about the set up I'm asking for. I guess I'll read another hour or two and maybe come across some help. I figured somebody would answer instead of pointing towards a 79 page sticky thread.

On to more reading.................

I have no problem reading and learning..... I also don't have a problem sharing info when people are asking for help.

The gearing section is on the very first page of the thread.

Based on the info there you will probably want a gear ratio 5:1 or maybe 4.66:1 .

That would be 80/16 or 80/17 gearing.

Hey Riz, I never used Tekin's crawler stuff , but I have run there race stuff and never complained. I run a 35t in all my trail trucks and its perfect mix of torque and speed.
