Default Poison Spyder Wraith

Morning all. I picked up a Poison Spyder Wraith this past weekend. I'm going to run it in a TTC this coming weekend lol. I'm going to waterproof the electronics, and throw on a custom bumper to mount a winch to, but otherwise this truck will be stock. I know something will give, more than likey it will be the servo first.

Here's my first question...I did a little light crawling with the truck around the house, and I noticed that if I turn the wheel one way or the other, and compress the outside front tire, it rubs the fenders on the body. Is this common or do I need to make an adjustment? I don't want to dial out steering if I can help it.

its common. as far as i know, most people trim the fenders off flush with the body, thats what i did, i still get a smidge of rubbing but not nearly as bad, definitly not as annoying as hearing it rub like before.

Check the package of spare parts that came with it I believe that there are some wider hubs in there if you use those it will bring the tire out away from the Body more and give you less rub

Btw see you out there this Sunday good luck

i'll check that out. I also picked up a winch from Tom, but the wraiths front bumper is not winch friendly. So Im having scalerfab make me something. They are coming down Sunday too. So I'll be finishing the assembly during signups lol
