| Re: "The Home Wrecker" DMG style Thanks man! Few more weeks I am guessing. Pieced together a transmission last night. Nothing special, all stock wraith components. Took some time off of work while the kiddos were on spring break so funds are down for a little bit. Do have a few things I can put together for it over the next couple days. Rims are going to be the killer though.

Wow been awhile since I have posted any updates. Still a very slow build. I have mounted my servo (savox sc1268 sg) to the chassis side panhard bracket I made earlier.I also cut up a stock wraith battery bracket and zip tied it the chassis instead of the bracket I made. Decided I needed to cut down weight where I can. You can see in the pic that my panhard and drag link are very close to the same length and angle. I would have liked it a little better but since my brackets have no height adjustments I think it worked out really well. I got the interior mounted after a bit of grinding and moving the dash to clear the Sexy handiwork of DMG. I also took an aluminum sheet and bent up a driver seat. Still need a driver but low priority for me. Tossed some electronics at it (CC sv2, CC bec, and Flysky rx) and went to check out the steering. It will have plenty! Now I am waiting on some Robby Gordons from The Scale Shop and some driveshafts. Then I can drop the tranny and the HH Torquemaster Sport in there and should have a runner |

Postal carrier brought me me some goods the past couple days. Yesterday was a pair of wild boars. So last night I dropped them and the transmission into place. Today I was happy to find my rims from The Scale Shop and VP hubs had arrived. I decided to go with .225 hubs up front and .750 in the rear in hopes of evening out the track width front and rear. Worked out great! I ended up 10.75" wide and 13.25" wheel base. Skid sits 2.5" off the ground. I don't have an exact rtr weight but I know it is around 8lb. I will post up its actual weight soon. For now it is ready run but upgrades on a few things are for sure in its future. Our club is holding a comp this weekend so will post some pics of it on the rocks soon. Again special thanks to Jerry at DMG, and Redsawacs (buddy of mine). Could not have done it without you guys. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk |

I think it is simply WEAK that I had to log in this morning to see all the pictures!!! I only got one picture texted to me.....sigh. I get no love anymore.....LOL! Dude, I am super jealous of that build - it truly looks stellar! But, I still think you don't need all that weight in the wheels! HAHA! lug-head! |
