Question 4WS, Caster and rear servo questions

I am going to convert the O.P.A.T. Wraith to 4WS.

The complete front axle is $47. I plan on purchasing it and flipping the parts over to make it a rear axle.

It won't have universals but, is rear steer used enough to require universals?

What about caster?

What about steering servo? Does it need to be as strong as the front?

What about the BEC Do I need to crank up he voltage?

Thanks Guys!

Caster for the rear should be neutral
I have the same servo front and rear
Always use a BEC
universals will give you more steering that is up to you

To me 4WS make the wraith just a blast to drive

I have a Castle Creations 10 amp running 7.2 volts. Is that enough for 3 servos? Two steering and one for Dig?

You'll want a Bec for each steering servo.

I'm going to politely disagree with that statement.

Depending on how you have your RX wired, I'd let the ESC power the RX included in that would be the dig servo.

I would wire up one BEC for the 2 servos. If that isn't enough juice, wire 1 BEC to each steering servo.
You have to be using a lot of juice to brown out a 10 amp BEC.

Alternative, buy Solar D772 servo's (OR any 8.4 volt servo) and run them from straight from a 2s batt.
