The one, yes ONE thing I really liked about vvd's was having to shorten the tang a bit. I wish everyone made axles with a bit extra so we can take the 34 seconds out of our day to shorten them perfectly to have full engagement in the locker.

Yep , I lost my axle stretcher a bit back.
I do get tired of putting a 3.5mm spacer between them

I also have there centered Wraith straight shafts in my GCM rear axle on my Yeti and have been whooping on it for months now without a problem.

As my Axial universals are getting to the point of requiring replacement due to wear and since you've been running the RC4WD Extreme Duty XVD's for a while now, how have they been holding up long term?

Where I am in Canada, nobody sells Vanquish, therefore if I want their products I need to go thru a US shop like RPP and the shipping/duties kills it, but my LHS is an authorized dealer of RC4WD.

As such, the cost of going with some RC4WD XVD's is way more sensible for me unless there are not reliable.

Thanks

Maybe, but seems like best option for strong and long lasting.
