| Wraith hilux build question
What's up guys. Here's the deal im building a wraith hilux I've got the hilux front cab and bed I've noticed you need to cut the top part of the cage down for the cab to fit all th way down My question is .. Has anyone cut the entire top of the cage off Leaving just a flat cage then mount the hilux body That's my plan but was looking for input before I chop it off |

remember it is a plastic frame so the more you cut the more chassis flex you will have witch will make your rig a lil less predictable on the rocks/trails

The wb on the body is 11.3, the wraith is 13.9. Something isn't going to line up... Seems like most guys cut the fenders front and rear and center it over the wheels. Or use an scx10 with a shorter wheelbase. |

Without trimming youll have no uptravel. You could dove the nose and tail for a bit more clearence. I ended up just using the cab and trimmed it.

Ok decided to not use the hilux body Didn't wanna chop up 60$ lol So now I've turned the wraith into a ford raptor Wheelbase lined up perfect just had to cut fender flares off Overall I think it looks pretty good Still a good ways to go but a good start Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Love it. What's that body for? All the sct bodies are way too wide. That looks perfect.
