Default Hobbywing esc questions

I got this esc
HobbyWing eZRun-60A-SL Brushless ESC for 1/10 RC Car (Version 2)
with a 13t motor

Run great but when I go forward and want to go reverse very quickly it has a delay.. causing to much rollover on step hills ahah

do yo got any tricks to delete this ''lag'' ( sorry my english is pretty bad)...

If I cannot fix this, what esc should I buy ( ( cheapest please )

Nothing you can do. Neither that esc or motor are designed or to be honest, any good for crawling as they are both sensorless, so will cog quite badly.

for brushless its hard to beat the hobbyking x-car 120a esc and trackstar motor combo, somewhere around a 13.5t, give or take depending on desired speed and voltage.

Have you tried putting it in "Rock Crawler" mode?? That removes the reverse delay on some ESC's.

Then you'll need to find an ESC with the instant reverse option. The reverse delay sort of defeats the purpose of "crawler mode".

I'm getting ready to solder the motor and battery connectors on a Novak Crusher to go in my Wraith. It has instant reverse in "Crawler Mode", hill/hold brakes (drag brake) and a 5-amp BEC that should work just fine for me.

I ordered the hobbyking x-car 120amp
hope it will work fine with my 13t 3100kv ezrun sensorless motor
I have the program card for my hobbywing 60a-sl Esc, will the card work with my 120 amp Esc ?

Yes to both, but you need the usb programming dongle or hobbywing Lcd program box to change the firmware on the esc to get best performance. It's not going to crawl very well regardless of what you do with that sensorless motor though.

With “Rock Crawler” mode, the reverse action will be happened immediately when the throttle stick is moved to backward zone.
Seems like your e-zrun may be defective or faulty, you should have instant reverse with your current ESC if/when it's set to "Crawler Mode". The quote above is from the e-zrun manual, similar quote can be found in the x-car you just ordered.

That's a good ESC. Doesn't have the same low end as more expensive ESC's, but I've run that ESC and it works well.
Has instant reverse, drag brake, etc.

You can use the turnigy lcd box, or the hobbywing lcd box.
Can also flash HobbyWing firmware.

yep, that will work fine.

I run hobbywing modified firmware v3.something on mine and its excellent, extremely smooth low end, instant reverse, awesome drag brake/hill hold and zero cogging with a trackstar 10.5t motor.
