Default Noob question.

Hi everyone

I'm getting back into this after 3 years and can't wait!!!!!

Just bought the crawlmaster pro 540 13t & BR XL ESC for my wraith.

Will be running 3S battery

Does anyone happen to know the shaft diameter for the pinion. 3 or 5 mm

Also they say I have to use a 16T pinion with this set up because of heat. So 16/84 I assume is 48p. Is the 32p equivalent 16/56?

Thanks in advance for helping out this noob!

Default Re: Noob question.

Stock Wraith spur is 80 so if Holmes says use 16 pinion max that's a 1:5 ratio.
In 32p if your using a 56 spur nearest to 1:5 ratio is an 11 pinion.
I have the crawlmasters in my Sporty (16t) & Pro (13t) crawlers & can confirm they have the 1/8" (3.2mm) shaft.
