Default Just finished my first competition :D, didn't do well but was fun. Looking for tips

I didn't have much issue getting up most things, but I flipped a lot.

Couldn't grip the larger rocks going up, probably driver issue.

My shocks are sagging pretty bad, any idea on what size shocks I should use?

Would 110mm kings be good?

Something to help the flipping would be good also.

Any tips would be appreciated to approve my crawling ability through obstacle courses.

Maybe I didnt have enough travel in shocks possibly?

What foams do you run in your tires? Have you moved your battery?

Sounds like you're off to a good start have you thought about venting your wheels/tires? Your rc will crawl better the more you use it. Mine drives like a tug boat to my son but to me it dose just rite
. Have you looked at the proline shocks or the gmade piggyback ones.

Glad that you are out crawling and having fun. Stock shocks have plenty of travel and too much travel is not good...neither is too little travel. Battery up front is good first step.

Read all of this:
Wraith Beginners Guide

and then this:
Harley's Guide to a Bulletproof Wraith

While not all will apply to your Wraith and many modifications are not required to crawl, comp and have fun these will help you greatly just from the understanding of setup and tuning your crawler.

Wheels come vented, foams are a great tuning aid. Home made foams are cool, but CI foams are very nice and less work, but also sometimes they need tuned to your exact needs too.

Sounds like you may want to check out an overdriven front ring and pinion (bevel gear set) also. Will definitely cut down on the backflips and give you better tight turning as well.

I personally would go standard ratio in front and under drive in the rear as this set up will help some with torque twist
