Default Wralux in progress.

So I saw a picture of a Wralux and thought I would give it a go. So far I like it, but I will have to norrow the front, it rubs pretty bad when flexed out. It is also my first hard body, definitely a lot of work.

Cut the front end and narrowed it last night.

I dig it! Its like a Toyota on 1 ton axles. Or maybe 2.5 ton axles... and 54"s. I always thought the front axle looked far forward on the wraith and even moreso with that little hard body. I'd try and shorten the front wheelbase a bit to bring that axle back to the realm of semi-realism.
Keep us updated. Im curious to see how this turns out.

I agree with you 100%. I have been at a stand still the last few days though. Between kids and work I haven't had the time.
I'm also going to do a tummy tuck modification and make some new links to bring the front end in a little.

Ha! I hear you brother. It took me a week to rebuild the front diff in my Yeti. Finally got it back together to find a blown knuckle bearing.

Well, I was able to get some more done tonight.
First thing I did was fill in the hood gaps were I had cut it with some plastic epoxy. While that was drying I took my front lower links off and shorten them by 5mm, what I difference 5mm makes.
Then I flipped the rear shock mount upside down and made a plastic link between them to add strength.
Once the glue was dry, I test fit the body and had to do a little clearance work to get the body to fit correctly since I narrowed it.
Here it is as it stands now.

I also ordered the rear half of the body tonight. Can't wait until it gets here.

Nice build! The pinched front is looking good. The inspiration pic is located here in NorCal. Keep it coming!

Nice and something you don't see a lot of. I really like working with hard bodies and feel they give more of a realistic feel when driving technical sections but I never seem to be able to stop moding them.

Yeah, this is my first hard body and the body detail is crazy.

I plan to get more done tonight, it has been really hard for me to work on this thing lately. I hope to have the bed installed be the end of the night.

Started with this.

Ended up with this.

Still have a ton of work to do, but I think it's starting to look pretty sweet.

Well, the project got put on the back burner for a little while, but here it is. It could use a little detail work, but it is pretty much done.
Believe it or not, I'm not sure if I like it, might have to trade it off.
