Default Rear Trailing Arms

I've done some searching but have not found specifically the info I need.

I ended up racing one of my Wraiths this weekend at a U4RC event. I had never planned to race nor had I built the Wraith for U4. However, unbelievably I won 2 heats and placed second in the A-main.

The biggest change I need to make are to my shocks and rear axle.

What I am wondering is this:
I want to change out to a centered rear pumpkin axle and swap the lower rear arms out to Yeti style trailing arms.

I do not like the Blue Monkey setup at all.

My Wraith, Image below, has a modified chassis using the Exo's rear upper shock mounts so I can mount the shock to a trailing arm and using Yeti length shocks mount them to the forward position on the Exo rear upper mounts.

This will free up room for a rear sway bar as I am going to soften the shocks up considerably.

Has anyone done this yet, if so I would like to see some pics.

Any input from those whom have attempted or done this mod would be appreciated.

Looks like yours would work out similar in arrangement to the Werty Fast Back U4 style cage.
Marc's WertyU4 Build
Marc used Yeti length UCFab trailing arms, it should extend your wheelbase by about a 1/2" over stock which is still within U4RC spec

I actually own one of those rear cages of his.

In fact I built this Wraith and designed my cage mod to hold me over until I received his rear cage.

However, I liked my design so much I kept it and never got around to building a Wraith with his cage.

Get a bomber

but for reals: get just the cage (like that: Axial RR10 Bomber Chassis Interior Skid Plate Body Panels Links Extra Helmets | eBay ) and add all your fancy axles, electronics and everything else.

your wraith terminator is too cool to be beaten in the U4 races

Here are pics of his awesome looking rear Wraith fastback long version cage.

It has swaybar attachment points and custom fuel cell for electronics.

That's nice, you need to mount that sucker up. I love my Werty rear cage.

Is it too heavy performance wise, crawling or U4?

All my rigs are crawlers first. If they do other things well that's just a bonus. My Qwiksilver build, for instance, is a great crawler that can also go fast.
