I started with 13.6oz front 9.3oz rear rtr at 5.93lbs then i tried the stock wheels and weights 11.4oz front 5.7oz rear rtr at 5.17lbs So im thinking about adding a oz to the front and rear weight that i had with the stock wheels and see how it goes from there. c...aux lin d...aux lin lets me control proportional dig from c or d e...aux 3p lets me change from front to 4wd to rear dig with e f...aux 2p with f you can be in full dig or proportional and just tap f and it jumps right back into 4wd. also you can in and out of dig just by tapping f Heres a video of it to give you an idea of how it can work but you can change it around to how it works for you. http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/f...=VIDEO0022.mp4 | |

Got around to messing with steering link today. Wanted to get rid of some of the slop. Ended up using a traxxas revo toe link #5338 and added some jato rod ends. In order to get it up alittle and to try and get it out the rocks i had to put a small bend on each side and cut off the stock link slot on the back of the axle. This is steel so its alittle heavier than what i had. |

Careful... those links are brittle. They don't take to bending very much at all and they snap.

That works, but I just got a sample of a new tray from Big Ron's Customs. He's in Sweetwater TN. This tray is light, it has room for a battery on front and a receiver on back, and it lowers all your electronics about an eighth inch. He's about to start selling them for cheap too. I'll send you a pic. |

Had to make a small change on the battery tray. I felt alittle bind and notice that the rear links would sometime touch the rear of the tray so added to small spacers to the rear of the tray put it at enuff angle that got it out of the way of the rear links and also put the battery down a bit as well. The m2 has been working great but have noticed sometimes when using dig in a high traction area(not on the rocks as much but like testing in driveway) the rear will creep some when turning, so i had planned on getting some better motors in the future this gave me reason to go ahead and try some now to see if it would help. I have been using novak 55t and they get the job done, i like to crawl slow alot. But have seen where some speed would help alot so after talking to John at Holmes Hobbies about what i was looking for he sent me some Team Edition 35t TorqueMaster motors. Just only got a quick test run sofar but i was worried about low end with a higher turned motor, but no more the bottom end is so much smoother and the power is there! As for the rear end creep goes with the wheel speed i have now i can get the rig turned around before it even has a chance. Really looking forward to getting some time on these motors and im very glad i went with the 35t not that i use alot of speed but its there if you want it. Now just got to learn how to use it! |
