Nice Rig mon ami,

I've seen that your lipo was on the front transmission and after inside chassis so what is the perfect position.

hi

un expatrié ??

the lipo is always on the front axle, but behind the motor, it's lowered the COG and the lipo is more protected.

and yes we're lucky for the spot here

Thanks for info, and yes I'm a Frenchy in USA....
For lipo size, Axial say 90x25x30 , is it true or can we have a little bit bigger?

you want to use the stock chassis ?

so here my advice, don't build it like they tell

if you flip the electronic plate you can mount your lower than stock location just need to use a dremel, or a xacto

for the size, sorry but I can't remenber... but don't try to use too big lipo, prefer to have 2 or more and save the weight on the chassis

and if some day you come here, let me know and maybe we can go to some great spot

I made some minor tnuning: limiting the rear shock externaly, testing some foam, cutting some pin on Losi BC...

and this how I broke the stock gear...

so today it's a big change for me
I'm using a DX6i for some years now, but due to lot of troubles, I give up w/ it
and I just received a 4PL

just a word....

AMAZING !!!

very intuitive, easy to set up (thanks Harley !!!! )
I can take the same line, but faster, and easier than my previous set up
need to practice more cause I make some mistakes when driving, but I feel confident

You have got a nice rig! And I really envy you for all the nice rock you have got down there in the south.

Congrats on the 4PL!

Really like your truck and your creative ideas! I have the same chassis (except mine is white) and i'm still learning how to tune the rig. my question for you is on the rear shocks, i find that my shock will travel up and hit on the cab when the axle is fully articulated. How are you avoiding that? In a few of your videos it looks like your shocks are hitting the cab also at full stuff. Also, i noticed my axial shocks are very, very smooth when the reservoir is on top, when i flip them over, they are not smooth and have air in them. Did you notice that?

Thanks guys

concretejungle
you use stock shockss w/o inner limiters, cause for the BJ you need 4" shocks

here's some pics (not the better pics but I just take it at the moment )

fully compressed

and here's how I mount it (Dlux ball, and spacer) and I add a external limit (found in the spare part in the kit)
