| Re: an another one....XR10 BJ4 Wow, really?!! I'm running the same hubs and i think it's wiiiiiide! I just had them on my losi so i used them until i decided what to use. I will say that with this width i have some serious steering throw since the wheels don't hit the springs or anything at full lock! |

yes it seems wide, but w/ Dlux wheels you need 1/4" more length on hub so w/ Dlux wheel, running 0.725/0.850 it's the same than running 0.475/0.600 w/ SLW wheel |

From your pics it looks like you drilled your holes for the brass inserts all the way through your case, did you? I can see where it looks like they may interfere with your spool's side bearings, just curious because when i found this mod in harleys xr10 guide there wanst much as far as directions. I just did my axles but only let the bit go to the previous depth. Waiting on VP upper links to assemble extra housings I had bought so not sure how mine turned out just yet!! |

there's two holes that I drilled all way. but if you mount your insert carefully it doesn't interfere w/ the bearing I made the same w/ the previous case and it work nice Last edited by dude26; 01-21-2012 at 06:17 AM. |

Looking good! Where did you get those brass inserts from? Is there a source in Europe? |
