Looks good Stubs! Thanks for running them. I will have a post with more info about these in a couple of days. Quote:
When I first built these wheels I had to remove my tires from the other set of wheels I was running that had 3 tiny, drilled vent holes in them. When I took the tire off I was surprised to see that there was quite a bit of water in the wheel that I did not know about. It had been weeks since I was around water of any type. So, while these wheels potentially let water in, it also lets water out unlike a conventional wheel. Also, I just took my wheels apart after running a ton of packs through them. There was no dirt in there. If you look at what the foam is doing in his previous picture, you can see its pressed in there pretty good. The foam will act as a barrier by itself not letting dirt pass by.

| Yep, and Eritex did it before me. If you want to seal the foam, just wrap electrical tape around the standoffs. Punch holes in the tape to the desired tuning. |

| Re: stubs XR back to stock build
I ordered a Y-Town secret agent chassis last week and decided to pull the cases off the FXR's while i waited for the chassis. Pulling the cases was easy i just hope i didn't mess anything up. Not sure if it loses any weight but it looks cleaner in the little chassis. The chassis is awesome! I have wanted a carbon chassis and have been waiting for this thing since they came out. The link lengths in the "secret agent" thread were really close but are not perfect for me because i have a front housing in the rear and run the front VP upper link mount backwards in the front. I also had to run the shock limiter internal in the rear not external. |

The chassis is great. The only thing i need to work out is a lifting i am getting on the rear. In an off camber drop it will hold a rear tire? The chassis feels good other than that and i am hoping i can get out to a familiar spot before i move to really test it. I am not sure how to explain it other than the chassis feels really smooth compared to any chassis i have ran. A couple pics from the byb gtg sunday. |

Thanks! I am way to light right now. I am at 5 lbs even with D_lux knuckle weights w/ 1 0.100 ring (for a total of 2.5 oz) and 3oz in the wheels. So, 5.5 oz per side. Nothing in the rear. I like my truck around 5 1/2 lbs usually. Think i am going to throw the 0.300 ring back on and add 2oz on each side on the rear axle. I am moving to Florida in 2 weeks so it is east coast comps for me for awhile. The wife is cool with trying to plan trips back around big comps. The steering link i got from you at Nats is awesome by the way The old one was like an anchor and your link never catches on anything. It is scratched up but i have never once noticed it get hooked.

Were you able to get rid of the rear tire lift? What did you do?
