woah. If that isn't a sales pitch for a light weight set up, I don't know what is.

I noted this in your vid section post, at 2:44 you can see the full flex at work, it's a prime example of why you don't need a coke tin under opposite corner wheels whilst the other two are still on terra firma, this rig has about a half a wheel dia flex and it works awesome

It looks like you restricted the fronts a tad more than the rears so the rear has a little more float, is this right?

Thanks to all the answers in this thread.

I`m back home and Rig is cleaned.

Here are my Link positions ( front and Rear Linkmount spaced up 1/8")

Knuckle weights are milled down about 4mm to get more clearance.

Added some spacers under the spring cup, so i can add some preload to the springs with the short Mini T springs.

Ride High ( 2.75"/ 7cm)

Fully extended ( 3.55" / 9cm )

RTR Weight 4lb12.45Oz / 4.77lb ( 4.9 Oz Knuckleweights per side)

Setup over view:

Shocks :

- SCX 10 Front : 10mm limiter outside , no Internal / Mini T Silver Spring 50 Oil / no preload
- SCX 10 Rear : 13mm limiter outside, no Internal / MRC Silver Springn 70 Oil / no preload

Shock Position:

- Front : 3rd Hole from front
- Rear : 2nd hole from back

Link positions :

- Front upper : At Axle Top hole on VP mount rised 1/8" / Chassie 2nd hole from bottom
- Rear upper : at Axle Middle hole on VP mount rised 1/8" / Chassie 2nd Hole from Bottom
- Rear Lowers : At the Axle mounted on the Shockmounts ( inside) removed Link mount

Links :

- Costum self Bend, measurements and bends are similar like the ones from Krawlfreak
- (Have access to some Chaotic Agent links) i take a look at them and will report if there are adjustments to get to the same like mine.

If there are Questions, let me know them.

It's very interesting to see there's only 15mm chassis float, this must help suspension predictability

I have to say this is one of my favourite threads, I'm learning a ton from your excellent info and revealing photos

Its simple, just a BC foam, slighty narrowed, to get it were i want it.
Like Single Stage foams in my BCs.

There are some advantages in undercuts, where Dualstage foams pull you backwards and this results in loosing grip in Front.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but is your chassis forward of the halfway point between the tires or is it centered in the wheelbase?

Does that make sense? Jeremy had his 4.0 built with the chassis forward of the center at some point. Just curious if that is still how you guys are building these things.
