Default Mounting tires without stripping stock screws

I was struggling a bit when I was mounting the tires to the XR10 rims.
As mentioned before many times, the stock screws are easy to strip.
So I came up with this, maybe it’s been posted before but I’ve read a lot of posts and haven’t seen it so here goes.
We have these plates as work that fits perfectly over the inner bead lock of the rim.
I just used a screw and nut to tighten everything, now the stock screws just need to thread their way into the plastic which in itself seems like enough excitement.

I noticed that this is my firts post, it feels kind of strange since I've been a member here for a few years.
I started this crawling this with some clod axels and a home made stick chassis

(I don't know why ImageShack rotates my pictures when I upload them)

i just used some wood screws with a Robertson head, solves the stripping issue easy and cheap. (i cant remember the exact size of the screws.)

I think mcmaster carr sells some better screws such as steel or titanium.

Yes, I was thinking of replacing the screws, but I just couldn't wait to assemble the whole thing.
This will however help if you don't have access to better screws.
Well, since I'm waiting for some parts to arrive (RC4WD gears, bearings from Avid, batteries) I haven't run it yet.
I'm still thinking about buying new motors for it, since I only have my old 55T Integy for now. At least I will be able to try it.
