Only one pic Jake ? C'mon dudeeeee !!! You want us to collapse with all the buzz around that rock monster :lmao::lmao: ?
I'm happy to see that rig coming along, your ideas are always inspirational even though I perfectly know I won't be able to approach a 1/4 of them...
Looking to see how you'll tear it comping..."thumbsup"

This was good for almost another 4g.

Now that the rear axle is done, I can start on links and shocks

This is just some crazy sillyness. I love it!
the rig is looking great so far, im interested to see how light you can run while still seeing improvements in performance."thumbsup"

I don't think I will quite break the 3lb barrier just yet, but I think 3.5lbs with weight might just be possible.

Maybe with it being SO light, and with the right tire and foam set up you could just eliminate the rear motor  Front wheel drive only :ror:

Smaller motors. Whats smaller than 540? I have no idea. 380? These brushed motors are before my time in RC.

With how light it is and how you are a finesse driver, you don't need a bunch of torque.

But I don't think that is his game plan as I saw him selling them not to long ago.

I'm not a big fan of the 454 pullers for an XR. The start-up just isn't good enough for competition use. This doesn't mean that there won't be some new, and even lighter motors in this rigs future though.

Also... IT LIVES

Came in at 3.5lbs with my 13t crawlmasters, no knuckle weights, and with a lot of heavy steel hardware. The front bias feels pretty good now, but we will see how it does tomorrow.

Well.. the truck decided it didn't want its maiden voyage to be on concreted boulders. I had some sort of batttery/esc failure about 10 seconds into the first course.
