| Joshs secret agent xr
Well I'm trying to get back into the comp scene after about 1 year off. I decided to give the xr a try as my last rig was a bj4 berg that worked well for me. I don't have everything yet as I'm still waiting on my 3.5 secret agent, and some boss claws with some novas from Eddie at crawler innovations, also waiting on some motors and gears. So far I have the axles together with vp cases and vp hubs and knuckles, I also made a carbon fiber rear brace and servo mount. I got my body painted up and I will be making some ti links at work as soon as my chassis shows up anyways heres a few pics so far. |

| Re: Joshs secret agent xr Why did you paint up a body when you have a SA 3.5 on the way? Are you planning on covering up the SA? |

I think i'm going to do that on my BJ4 also.... just use the chassis and take the cab off for a body. I think it'll roll over better and it's kooler!

Well my tires and foams showed up from Eddie at C.I. thanks again man, I also got my links threaded just waiting on my chassis Krawlfreak said it should ship out tomorrow or Friday, so once I get it I can bend my links up and maybe get this thing to a roller status. |

Yeah hopefully I can get some time on the lathe and get the wheels made in time if not I'll just narrow the stock wheels and run them at the 1st comp.

Very nice! Great job on the rear lowers at the axle, I can tell you have been doing your homework on thus build! We need to design an upper link mount that bolts to the stock piece and has more vertical holes if you don't want to spring for the VP ones.

Thanks Shelby and yeah I've been doing a lot of studying on links and such and I do plan on getting the vp link mounts but now that you said that I do have some 1/4 delrin I might be able to come up with something.
