Bj4 chaotic crawlers links Vp chubs Vp knuckle weights (3.25? I think..) Vp knuckles Vp lock outs Vp gear boxes Vp motor plats Vp cvd's Vp .75 wheels Rover whites, nova two stage 5.5 Narrow soft front med rear Vp hubs. ( ill have to go back and look at witch ones ) Hr gears ( all but the front finial in the front) 6mm rear axles Hh 30turn torque masters Rear steering link mod Novak m2 dig ( don't like it ) Spectra 3c controler Casle bec **** axle housings ( stock with the inserts) Stock xr shocks with losi gold springs. Hitac 7950th I know there is more. It was lifting the rear on on side climes Bad. Like the front is binding. I moved the links up and back to where that are in the pic. It was run lastnight with the rovers and this link placement. Much better but if any one has any input I'm all ears. I'm sure it is mostly bad driving on my part. Since you have all the VP goodies then you might consider change your shocks to 4" big bores or SCX10 socks with mini-t springs. It make my BJv4.2 a totally different truck when I did mine.

| Re: Bj4 setup help. Big bores are on the list (can not stand the leaks ). I started with a ax did my best to build it and just wounded around the rocks like a lost puppy for years . Got in to scalers and forgot all about comp rigs. Found a new crawler store and stopped in for a new... Well I got something... Any way they were having a little fun moa comp and I got suck in. Spent a but load of cash and just stated doing comps. I've done 2. Now is is the time to Make the changes as I'm still in the learning curve and getting a driving style. After moving the links and switching to the rovers the truck for the most part is doing what I ask it to do. It's just I may be asking it to do the wrong things lol.

Can you provide pics of your upper link positions at the axles? In the meantime, try lowering your rear uppers at the axle. |
