I was speaking of the switch chassis ( I thought my reply would have included the pics in your post but it didnt) Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me about the colored shock springs? I am new to this whole rc thing. My rig came with non painted ones up front and green ones in the back. I might buy some other colored ones and play around with them.

Supershafty sell them,,but they are pretty expensive,,, 170$ for a set off shocks,,, but they are 100% leak proof and smooth as silk,, once you have tested them you wont go for anything else,,, The red ones comes completly RTR,,,and they are great,,25mm rebound aproxy,, perfect for crawling,,but the blue ones that I have you need to build youreself,, no problem,,there is videos on youtube on how to bleed them and set rebound,, it is Rick himself who is building a set off shocks to a customer when filming the hole prosess,,that video helped me alot to bleed the shocks right,,so you dont end up with airbubbles in the shocksylinder... I wont never go back to traxxas or egressor scx10 shocks again,,, Maby I will buy the 3" in August when I get my paycheck,,the 3,5" is alittle to long to the reptile so I had to set spacers inside the shock to get em 4-5mm shorter,,but now I am happy with them, the reason I want to buy the 3" ones is that I have plans to build me a SUDU chassis with bully2 or xr10 axels when the season is over and building time begins,, there is so many who have problems with the gears on the new bully2,so I wont buy those axels before the gearproblem is fixed...

From the sounds of it, it may be expensive but definitely worth it. I actually thought they came in a set of two but I checked out the site and they are set of 4. SO that is not bad. I might have to buy a set somewhere down the line, the traxxas ones will work for me for the time being.

A trip down memory lane,,,,,I want to have skinz on my switch aswell,, and I have plans to buy a new pair off axels to build in the winter season,,, and on the new axels there will be a remedy 3.5 or a SUDU chassis,, and I am considering to buy a pair off bully2 axels but not if the gears "melt" in the livingroom,,, there has been so many here in scandinavia that has bought bully2 axels and the gears is broken after 10 min off crawling,,, hope that was only a small production error from RC4WD with the first batch they made,, Hope they have improoved this problem because then I will be interested to buy a pair and try on the remedy/sudu!!!!!!! |

YES!!!!!! Finaly got the narrowed voodoos I`ve been looking for the hole summer,, They came late,,but it`s allright,, I will now remowe some weight on my rig,, first I will change all the rc4wd gears with axial machined lightweight gears all around.. That will maby save me 80-100g... So my total is down to around 1640g without the brassweights on the wraithknukles.... I will try to drive without any weights at all on my steeringknukles for a test,,I see Fritzthefly or zzr1100 dont have any weights at all on their pro rigs,,and they have been getting 1,2 or 3 places in almoust every comp they have entered... So it is just the way you are used too drive,, I must say that I am used too some extra weight on the front,,but with narrowed voodoos and a crawler down at 1600g I thing I maby can change my drivingstyle... |

| Re: My xr10 reptile build.. Do you still run the reptile chassis,??? I am planning a new rig for the winter,, If I am lucky I will get my hands on a pair off used xr10 axels,,(GREAT ONES),, And then the question is do I go for the remedy 3.5 or the Finns SUDU???? Right now the ballance is 60/40.. Remedy/sudu But maby there is something else coming now soon since all the vendors know we like to have something to do in the winterseason aswell,,BUILDING.... |

The only thing I hear that people use from the stock berg axels is the transcan, and you have to rebuild the gears,,Get some dlux parts to about 300$ and then the axle is complete,,NO,,wait you still need the ax10 steeringknukle from vanquish,or hotracing,, but it would have been vanquish for me because I like my rig to lock the best.. And bully2 I have had plans to buy,but there have been some issues with the gears/bearings on the new bully2,,I know,we have 2 team rc4wd drivers here in Norway,,And one off them has had mutch troubble with the gears,, I belive the other guy aswell had some issues with the gears,, I belive he said something like they where soft as butter.... But if rc4wd has fixed these problems I want to buy bully2 forsure... But they cost as mutch as I get fully vanquish upgraded xr10 axels for,,400$. So what is the better buy???
