| Yeti XL with Spektrum AVC
I was able to finish my xpert WR-7701 install and put in the Spektrum AVC RX while I was at it and I'm very impressed with how well it works. It controls most of the torque twist. I'm still messing with the settings but like it so far.

I'd love to see a before and after video of this. I'm having a tough time understanding how the AVC could control torque twist.

When I get time I'll try to do some video. It must have something to do with heading control and throttle limiting when you punch it goes straight and as it starts to twist/lift avc takes over pretty cool. Don't know how it all works but it does help a bit.

I'm guessing it has to do with "punch control" over anything. The twist is most apparent when blipping the throttle, I know the Castle ESCs have punch control settings but I have yet to try that to see how it does afterwards, it would most likely be better though.

I have an AVC rx in my Firestorm brushless, and mini revo bl. I honestly can't stand it, I find the only terrain I run it on is gravel. Recently had a layer of ice over my street, it was almost impossible to control my mini revo, just constant doughnuts. So I played with the settings to no avail. The firestorm, it makes more sense, as it helps correct the constant drifting of rwd and castle sct. Overall though it seems like a bandaid, or novelty. The AVC uses it's gyros to give your truck a bit of traction control, I find it slows down the overall speed. Likely, when the axle twists and the suspension loads up, the avc drops power a bit, to compensate for the vertical movement. I can't do wheelies if I run any of the thr control in avc, but you can turn off the option through the tx, and just run either str or thr, or both. |

I'm not the best at videoing one handed but put the phone against my tire to show with AVC on and off best I could you can kind of get the idea. I sure like the AVC it's not a cure all I don't race or compete so I don't care about that aspect of it I just fun playing around with it.

That was a fine comparison, so it does have to do with punch control then? Seems like right as the wheel was coming up, the power got toned down a bit, it settled back down and was good to go.

What voltage were you using? Could you provide bat mfg. and your opinion of them? Thanks
