O I can ... I looked into taking the progressive bend out of the skid plate or sanding a bevel into the Sub-clip or... making a aluminum wedge shim... But for now I'll stick with it till the TEST RUN... Then the fine tuning will commence

I really like the fact that you noticed the issue and pointed it out like a buddy It's all about the delivery ! Some guys are a little ruff about "what should's" and "how too's"

I've got my Dhawk order coming Tuesday so I can wrap it up.. I also went against my better judgment and got a HR HD transmission gear set... I let ya know if its any different than the stock transmission drag..

Wow its looking real good so far, cant wait to see it finished. Are those some kyosho madforce parts i see there? Also got your gears back and i havent installed them yet, need to go with a front aluminum bulkhead first. Yea been real quiet here, just installed the mamba x esc and so far so good, finally have some good steering power.

Ya I was going to pull the trigger on a Fo-Xx Ve last night then saw a video next to the XMAXX... changed my mind... XMAXX Soild axle crawler or a XL bomber.. I really want a durable transmission.. I think the Chain drive will hold up to 6s... I plan on re~engineering it and making it way stronger with a possible DIG option..

Yea the F-oxx looks like fun and love the body. Sure next to the Xmaxx it doesn't look like much but I have a soft spot for the mad force platform. It was my first real monster truck and they've rehashed it like a hundred times. All in all its a fun truck but can't hang with the new crop of trucks, suspension is kinda bouncy and the steering linkage is a big mess. Doesnt articulate to well also as its a 2 link setup.

I was thinking about building a suspension system for it as well as steering mod and a power transplant..T8 1350k.v sensored 6s......I don't think the axles could handle it.. But I have a hard time stepping down from the XL... One of these days I'm gonna pick up a B5..

I just bought the Mad Force Kruiser VE and I'm very happy and pleasantly surprised at how simple and robust it is. Decided to part out the YXL on eBay. BHB, great stuff man. I'll be lurking in there Kyosho forum on here from now on, but will stop in time to time to see How things are.

I hear you, it's a good truck, I've had three of them, one with heavily upgraded with new era parts extended chassis etc. They were an old company that went out of business but I liked them, very raw no anodizing. Anyway it is simple and light and I did miss it for a while when I sold them but honestly the wheelies are fun for a while but can get tiring for me. I've had like every truck or have driven at least most of them. Even my beloved savage flux it was gettin old with all that crazy power and couldn't put it down. Standing backflips all day could barely blip the throttle. I've had the yeti Xl since it first came out and even with all its reliability issues it's still impressing me every time I drive it.

Thanks man !! Sorry to hear that you scrapped the XL.. I 'm in limbo about spending the money on a factory RTR or buying parts to make my own rig.. Thanks for the support !!
